Global Juno Productions are thrilled to present an eye-opening, based on the true events new stage play – WHITE BOI, in collaboration with Urban MBA. Written by Gary Coleman and directed by Jo Romero, the play explores the life of a young boy who gets caught up in a series of unfortunate events leading him to do county lines after he gets expelled from the school and goes into PRU.

Synopsis:
Based on a true story, WHITE BOI explores the life of a teenage boy who does not seem to be aware of the dangers that are awaiting him after he gets expelled from school and transferred into the PRU – Pupil Referral Unit. The play explores the appalling reality to which young city kids are exposed: first encounters with mental health problems, education and social injustice, gangs, drugs, and … death.
About the director:
Jo Romero is an accomplished actor, writer and director who starred in many prestigious Comedian Theatre plays and performed her own comedy shows in Europe and USA. Jo is also a qualified Meisner technique teacher and coach, teaching Meisner in the UK, Los Angeles, Paris, Greece, Ireland and Israel. She is also an award-winning comedian in the ‘2Days Laughter Short Comedy Film Competition.
